The VITAPAN 3D-MASTER Shade system, provides a systematic arrangement of virtually all existing natural tooth shades and integrates them into one easy-to-use shade guide.

The shade guide has been designed to cover the shades found in the part of the colour space concerning the natural dentition in a more scientific way, taking into account the parameters of lightness , chroma and hue. The pattern covers the segment of the colour space in a more predictable manner and is, carried through to the Shade guide in the choice of shades provided.

Colour Communication between the surgery and the laboratory is enhanced and because the porcelain has been developed in tandem with the shade guide, the transfer of information is accurate and aesthetically pleasing.

In 2001, M.F. Rosa Dental Laboratory in conjunction with PANADENT Ltd., gave a presentation lecture on the 3D Shade guide and the Omega 900 Porcelain. Nearly 75% of those who attended now use the shade guide routinely.
